Perfecting Your Practice® (PYP) was first conceived in 1998 by Sudbury Denturist, Doug Beswick. As Chair of the Marketing Committee of the DAO, Doug was charged with the task of promoting our profession on a very tight budget. After canvassing several of his colleagues and industry experts, Doug presented the concept of PYP to the Board of Directors. The concept was to provide a vehicle through which DAO members could learn from experts how better to market themselves. This gathering would also provide a venue for continuing education and increased sharing of knowledge amongst the members. It would also encourage increased camaraderie and help bring the profession together.
It has done just that. PYP has grown to be one of the world's premier events for Denturists, attracting participants from all over Canada and the world. With world class lecturers and support from many major suppliers, PYP continues to grow. This year’s upcoming event promises to be the largest ever. Don't miss it!
