 egistration - Principles\, Techniques\, and Applications in a Digital Worl
 d</h3>\n\n<p>Accurate bite registration ensures proper occlusion\, functio
 n\, and aesthetics in various dental treatments\, including complete and p
 artial dentures\, crowns\, and implant restorations. In this lecture\, Fer
 nando will take us back to basics and remind us of the importance of recor
 ding a bite registration and why we do it.<br />\n<br />\nParticipants wil
 l learn:</p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>How establishing occlusal relationships\, enhanc
 es prosthetic accuracy\, improves function and comfort and helps in achiev
 ing a balanced occlusion\, reducing TMJ issues.</li>\n<li>Application of t
 he reference denture technique to record the patient&rsquo\;s bite and why
  its important when minimal occlusal adjustments are required and for capt
 uring centric relation accurately.</li>\n<li>The role of bite rims and the
  importance of determining correct maxillo-mandibular relationship before 
 transferring the record to an articulator.</li>\n<li>How the use of the Ce
 ntric Tray can aid in the ease of recording centric relation and how we ca
 n turn an analog technique into use for the digital world</li>\n</ul>\n\n<
 p><em>About the Speaker: <strong>Fernando Paiz DD </strong>was born in Nic
 aragua\, and migrated to Canada at an early age. He has been in the dental
  field for 20 years and graduated from the Denturism Program at George Bro
 wn College in 2006\; he has practiced Denturism ever since. Fernando becam
 e part of the Faculty of Denturism at Trillium College and taught students
  for over 5 years. Fernando became a member of the Board of Directors for 
 the Denturist Association of Ontario in order to help out new and graduati
 ng students get integrated in the profession and provide as much informati
 on necessary to become a successful Denturist. When Fernando is not enjoyi
 ng time with his family\, you can find him spending his leisure time as a 
 photographer. He spent a year photographing concerts in Toronto and is loo
 king forward to spending time in the outdoors as a landscape photographer.

 eceived his diploma from Denturism in Toronto at George Brown College with
  honours. Currently Mark is practicing at &ldquo\;416 Dentistry&rdquo\; in
  Ontario with a main focus on high-end removable and implant prosthetics. 
 With a passion for both technical and clinical techniques he is certified 
 in Bio-logic\, BPS and SDC denture concepts and is an &quot\;Art of Dentur
 e&quot\; award winning Denturist. He is a sought-after international lectu
 rer and opinion leader for many companies and the youngest recipient of th
 e &ldquo\;George Connolly Memorial Award&ldquo\; one of Denturism&rsquo\;s
